Today, I watched a video released by Tesla titled "Autonomous Tesla Delivery | Full Drive". It's not a movie or a TV show—just a video. A 30-minute, real-time POV recording of a Tesla autonomously driving itself from the production line to the customer’s home. No fast-forwarding, no cuts—I stared at the screen for the full 30 minutes.

By all accounts, a video like this, with no acceleration or dramatic editing, should be boring. But the moment you realize that it's a fully autonomous drive with no humans in sight, it evokes a sense of beauty—one born from electricity and code.

Many people describe Tesla's achievements—from launching a Tesla into space, to SpaceX’s “chopstick” rocket recovery, to this seamless autonomous drive—as “astonishing.” But to me, beyond the astonishment, what I feel most is a sense of profound beauty and romance—a peak expression of what humanity is capable of creating.
